Summary¶

The joint_instrument_log was used to partition groups of flight lines into different chunks that should be placed 'in front of' or 'behind' other chunks; this process was done manually, as a combination of the weather during observations, flight conditions, flightbox design, and the time the flight was taken. As such, it is inherrently subjective - the goal, however, was to minimize the influence of bad condition on the mosaic (those with partial or complete cloudcover), and keep the overal scene as continuous as possible (IE, by keep overlapping chunks closer together in time when possible). Within a particular chunk of lines, individual lines were mosaiced by nearest-neighbor reasambpling to a common, 5 m GSD grid, using the minimum phase angle (the direct angle between the sun, target, and sensor) as the sorting criteria.

Availability:¶

  • Base directory
  • Reference grid with links - the grid is static, but the links inside the grid will be updated through time with the latest versions of data.
  • Mosaic v02, with subdirectories for:
    • glt - 3 band file telling x-location, y-location, file index (1-based) of the source file for the mosaic (referenced the master scid list)
    • rfl - reflectance data in envi format
    • obs - observation data in ENVI format
    • ql_scaled - scaled uint8 quicklook from reflectance
    • ql - 32 bit float quicklook from reflectance

Updates in v02¶

Bug fix to include lines labeled as ''.

  • ang20231113t120518 -> ang20231113t120548
  • ang20231113t121525 -> ang20231113t121555
  • ang20231113t122602 -> ang20231113t122632
  • ang20231113t123605 -> ang20231113t123635
  • ang20231113t124643 -> ang20231113t124712

These were switched out with their PRISM counterpart.
